Specificity

“Save money” vs “Save 30% by Friday” — the second performs because the reader can picture the outcome. Vague claims get scrolled past.

A real hook

The first 3 words decide whether anyone reads the next 10. A good hook either intrigues, polarizes, or leads with the biggest specific benefit.

No filler

“Discover”, “Introducing”, “Don’t miss out” — these words are negative-signal. They mark the headline as written by AI or by a marketer who hasn’t earned the reader’s attention.
